2009 Upcoming Event
2009 Dual Sport Ride
Sunday, October 18, 2009
Ride
over 70 miles of scenic secondary roads connecting privately owned properties,
each with one to five-mile off-road trail loops. Many new properties have been
added to this year’s run!
What: Kettle Moraine Sport Riders dual sport motorcycle ride. Ride
any motorcycle you want to ride in the woods, as long it is street legal. There
will be paved road sections, so headlight, tail light, brake light, license
plate and muffler are mandatory. Note: Loud is bad. 96 decibel limit will be
enforced.
Who: Dual Sport enthusiasts with a valid driver’s license.
Where: Ride starts at Mike’s Motorsports, W303 State Road 33,
Hartford, WI 53027 (3 miles west of Allenton on Hwy 33.) Please contact KMSR for
information about the event.
Schedule:
7 – 8:30 a.m. Registration
& mandatory sound testing
8:45 a.m. Riders meeting
9:00 a.m. First bikes out
9:30 a.m. Last bikes out
12:00 p.m. Lunch on the trail
4:00 p.m. Ride ends at Mike’s Motorsports
4:30 p.m. Dinner
Fees: Entry fees include registration, noon lunch on the trail and
dinner on Sunday night. In addition, riders who pre-register receive t-shirt at
the start of the run.
Registration fees:
$65 Pre-registration received prior to 10/03/2009 (Includes meals and t-shirt)
$80 Postmarked after 10/03/2009 (Includes meals, no shirt)
$10 Meal ticket for non-participants (Optional)
Non-registered riders or tag alongs will
not be permitted – all trails are on private lands. Insurance will not cover
non-registered riders. Non-registered riders will be considered trespassers on
private land.
